This collection was created during her time studying abroad in Florence, Italy for her final AAS Fashion Design exhibit in 2020. The inspiration was derived from Ancient East Asian armor located within the Stibbert Museum among many other ancient armor from around the world. Specifically, the Japanese Samurai & Kamikaze soldiers caught her attention. For thousands of them risked their honorable lives at a very young age for the preservation of their tradition, culture & protection of their beloved country. This collection serves as a commemoration to those fallen souls.
