After fifteen successful years in the retail & business management industry, Jessica decided to pursue her lifelong childhood dream as a creator in the fashion realm. She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, specializing in RTW & Evening Wear. She was top of her class in the International Program at the Polimoda Institute in Florence, Italy, where she received her Associate's Degree of Applied Science in addition to being the Critic's Choice Award & Judge's Choice Award winner for the "Cherry Blossom Dress" from her collection in 2020.

 

During her time studying at FIT, she interned for established luxury brands such as Oscar De La Renta, Sachin & Babi and Dennis Basso.

She has collaborated with the head senior fashion designers and assistant design teams  in creating elegant ready-to wear collections for Spring/Summer 2022, Fall/Winter 2022 and Spring/Summer 2023, all of which debuted in New York Fashion Week.

 

She is multidimensional & passionate about other areas that have also aspired her to complete minors in History of Art, Italian Studies & Psychology. Her designs are inspired by these different yet interesting topics that define humanity & all things in life galore.

Her managerial and organizational skills have also previously landed her an internship opportunity as a Product Development Management Intern for the J.S. Groupe International company. She has experience in product development in which she assisted the team with all operations for production of several luxury brands including Theia Couture (evening wear) & Theia Bridal, Kay Unger, Amur, JS Collection & Monique Lhuillier.

 

She also has experience as an Operations Lead at Alteration Specialists. She has assisted world renown tailors and high clientele with appointments for altering their luxury brand clothing that best meet their fitting needs.

Today, she holds a title as Assistant Designer for Anne Klein, Nine West & Jones New York.
